Welcome

Ahlan wa Sahlan - اهلاوسهلا
The Redhill Islamic Centre is a detached building in Earlswood Village on the southern edge of Redhill Town. Situated in a semi rural area, the Mosque provides a relaxed, secure and family friendly environment.
In 1978 Redhill Islamic Centre was formed and a disused church was
bought and converted internally into what is now the Redhill Mosque
to serve a thriving Muslim community in the immediate areas as far
as Coulsdon, Caterham, Godstone, Dormansland, Merstham, Hooley,
Reigate, Salfords, Horley and Gatwick.
Over the years the Muslim community frequenting the Mosque has
increased and recently we have seen a noticeable surge in the
number of people attending prayers, particularly for special
prayers when the capacity is filled to the brim.

Beliefs and Practices
Ahl-ul-Sunnah-Wal-Jama'ah base their beliefs on the Qur'an and Sunnah, and believe in oneness of Allah and the Blessed Prophethood of Beloved Muhammad(SAW). We follow the Ash'ari and Maturidi schools of aqidah, the Hanafi school of fiqh, and the Qadri, Chishti, Naqshbandi or Suhrawardi Sufi orders.
Beliefs Regarding Beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W)

Ahl-ul-Sunnah-Wal-Jama'ah have beliefs regarding the nature of the Beloved Prophet Muhammad(SAW):
Sayidnah RasoolAllah [Salal laho Aley hi Wasalam) has stated,
"The very first thing which Almighty Allah created was my
Noor."
(Tafseer Roohul Bayaan; Madarijun Nabuiwat).
Hazrat Sayidnah Ali (Radi Allahu Anhu) said that when the Messnger of Allah (Salal laho Aley hi Wasalam) spoke, Noor (light) used to be seen emerging from between his blessed teeth. (Muwahibul Laduniya; Anwaarul Muhammadiyah)
Hazrat Sayidnah Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) states that the day in which the Messnger of Allah (Salal laho Aley hi Wasalam) arrived in Madinah tul Munawwarah, everything in Madinah tul Munawwarah became bright through his Noor.
(Tirmiodhi; Ibn Majah)
